Step-by-Step Application Guide

Important points that may affect the evaluation of your application:

  • The international student applications will be open between 3 – 28 June, 2024.
  • Please use only the Latin alphabet when filling out the application form.
  • On the application form, you can upload only a single file to fields such as transcripts, and exam results. All documents must be legible and up to 25 MB in pdf format. (Please merge documents with multiple pages into a single pdf file.)
  • If more than one document is uploaded in the Exams section, the first one will be taken into consideration. Please apply with a single exam result.
  • No changes are allowed to the applications that have been evaluated by the International Student Unit.
  • During the evaluation process, authorities may ask applicants to make corrections on their application forms. It is in your best interest to check your e-mail regularly for possible updates regarding your application.
  • Please proceed to fill out the form after reviewing the "Step-By-Step Application Guide". (Applicants who hold Turkish citizenship, who have renounced their Turkish citizenship or who will apply with GCE must review the guide.)

After signing in the application program with the user name and password sent to you, please select “2024 - 2025 Academic Year International Student Admission to Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs". Please click on one of the programs you want to apply to and open the information form with the “Add New Application” button. After filling in the required sections in the numbered tabs below, you can add and edit your other program preferences, if any, in the last step of the application.

1.    Personal Information:

  • Photograph: Please upload a passport-style photograph. (.jpeg)
  • Identification information (First-Last Name, Father's-Mother's Name, Place-Date of Birth, Gender, and Nationality): Please enter them as they appear on your passport.

2.    Contact Information:

  • Here, applicants should provide the address they personally reside in and the telephone number they actively use.

3.    Application Information:

  • Please specify whether you have ever been dismissed from a university before.

4.    High School Information:

  • Please fill in the information boxes regarding your high school education.

5.    Documents:

  • Passport: Please upload a scanned copy of your passport showing your ID information. (.pdf)

** Applicants who hold Turkish citizenship should upload the ‘Complete Extract of Civil Registry Record’ that will be received from the civil registry offices along with their passports as a single file.
** Applicants who have renounced their Turkish citizenship must upload their Blue Cards along with their passports as a single file.

  • High School Diploma or an official document indicating your eligibility to graduate: Please upload either a copy of your high school diploma certified by the Turkish Consulate or an official document taken from your high school indicating your eligibility to graduate.
  • Official High School Transcript: Please upload your official transcript taken from and certified by your high school.

** If the above-mentioned documents regarding high school education are not issued in English or Turkish, please upload them and certified translations thereof as a single pdf file.

6.    Exam/Diploma:

  • Please enter into this field the Exam or Diploma information that will be used for your application. Those holding exam status (TR-YÖS and TQDK) have a validity period of two years from the date of the exam. GCE, IB, French Baccalaureate, and ABITUR have an unlimited period of validity.

** Applicants who apply with GCE should enter abbreviated titles and grades of the A Level subjects into the field of "Exam Detail-Description". They can type 0 in the Numerical Score box.
** Applicants who will not be able to get their diploma grades within application period due to COVID19 restrictions, can apply with a document indicating their expected/predicted grades. This document must be issued and certified by their high school. Applicants who applied with “Expected/Predicted Grades” will forfeit their rights to register in the event that they fail to meet the predicted grades.

7.    Choice of Program: Please enter into this field the programs you want to apply to, starting with your first choice.

8.    After checking and saving the information you entered, you can download your application form by clicking on "Print", and then log out.
