• After filling out the "Pre-Registration Form" at https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr/ within the legal period*, print it out and sign it on the first page.
• Before filling out the pre-registration form, please ensure you have a digital copy of your biometric photo on the computer you are using.
• If you hold a non-student residence permit, please select "I lodge a transfer application for residence permit".

Legal Period

• Within the legal period that the student can stay in the country from the date of arrival (For example, within one month if you have a one-month visa / within three months if you have the right to a three-month visa exemption)
• For Extension Applications: Within two months (sixty days) before the expiration date of the residence permit, the student must apply for an extension of the residence permit (Extension Application - Student - Undergraduate / Master's / Doctorate). For example, if your student residence permit expires on 19.04.2019, you must apply for an extension from 19.02.2019.
• For Transfer Applications: the student must apply for a student residence permit within 20 days of fulfilling the necessary conditions.

Important Notes

• When filling out the form, please make sure to enter your residential address and other required information completely and accurately.
• Please note that the address of the University, which is "Hacettepe Üniversitesi Rektörlüğü Sıhhiye / ANKARA", should not be used as your residential address. Using this address may result in the rejection of your residence permit application.
